Feast of St. Nicholas

On December 6, 2016, the Feast Day of St. Nicholas, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated with Metropolitan-Archbishop Stefan Soroka, Bishop David Motiuk visiting from the Edmonton Eparchy in Canada, as well as several clergy from the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia. Lisa Oprysk, cantor, as well as the Missionary Sisters of the Mother of God led in the responses to the Liturgy at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Philadelphia, PA. Towards the end of the Divine Liturgy, Cathedral Rector, Rev. Roman Pitula wished greetings and Mnohaya Lita to everyone named Nicholas. The Divine Liturgy concluded with the singing of "O Kto Kto" to St. Nicholas. (Video and pictures by Teresa Siwak, The Way.)
