Metropolitan-Archbishop Stefan Soroka offered the homily on December 9, 2016 at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception during the Divine Liturgy for Benefactors of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadlephia. In his homily, Metropolitan Soroka said, "Today we have gathered together to give thanks to the many benefactors of our Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia...We ask for God's blessings upon those gifts generously offered and to those who offered them. We ask for God's choicest blessings upon the benefactors. We joyfully celebrate thanksgiving for our benefactors on today's feast of the Conception of St. Ann with Mary, the Mother of God."
