“From Grief to Grace”
Women’s Day 2009
Women’s Day 2009
Grief can come in many different shapes and sizes. Yet, we typically associate the emotion of grief with death. But, grief, and the stress that is its constant companion, can materialize for many reasons. These additional causes of grief may be more subtle but they are still very real; the loss of a job, a home, or of economic security. Another “hidden” cause of grief is seeing loved ones, friends, and others we know experience loss, leaving us feeling relatively powerless to help them.
On Saturday, March 28, 2009, join us in fellowship and discussion led by our speaker, Kimberly Hashin, MD. As a board certified internist and lifelong member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, Dr. Hashin will include medicine and faith as she discusses dealing with the disappointments and heartaches of life and moving forward from them.
Sign-up Today!! There are only a few spaces left!! Doors open at 9:00 AM and the program will begin at 9:30 AM. Your $30 registration also covers lunch and parking. This amazing event is sponsored and underwritten by the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia, Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great, Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate, and the Missionary Sisters of the Mother of God.
To register or for more information, contact Sister Dorothy Ann Busowski, OSBM at 215.379.3998 or dabusowski@stbasils.com.

Glory to God for all the inspiration for the day in the planning and impletation by the Women's Day Committee - the great speaker - and the Spirit's presence in each of the women who participated.
