Philadelphia to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Holodomor

Український Американський Громадський Комітету закликає українську громаду м. Філядельфії і околиці до численної участи у відзначенню 80-річчя Голодомору – Ґеноциду в Україні, що відбудеться в неділю, 17-го листопада ц.р. з таким розкладом: 1:00-2:00 год. по полудні: Маніфестація і Інсценізація біля Дзвону Свободи (People’s Square, 5^th & Market Sts., Philadelphia, PA 19106).

3:00 год. по полудні: Жалібне Відзначення Голодомору – Ґеноциду і вшанування памяті 8-10 мільйонів невинних жертв Московського терору в Українській Католицькій Катедрі Непорочного Зачаття ПДМ при 830 N. Franklin Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

PHILADELPHIA TO COMMEMORATE THE 80^th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FAMINE-GENOCIDE IN UKRAINE!

The Ukrainian-American community in Philadelphia will mark the 80^th Anniversary of the Famine-Genocide in Ukraine on Sunday, November 17. From 1:00-2:00 PM, a rally with famine dramatization will be held at the Liberty Bell, People’s Square, 5^th & Market Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19106. A Solemn Commemoration of the “Holodomor” and Remembrance Service for the 8-10 million innocent victims of Moscow’s terror will follow at 3:00 PM at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 830 N. Franklin Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

Clergy Attend Workshop on October 10th in Philadelphia, PA

On October 10, 2013, the clergy of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia attended a workshop at the Cathedral Hall in Philadelphia, PA.

Rev. Dr. Richard DeLillio, OSFS, Professor of Homiletics from The Catholic University of America, spoke on the theme, "Go and Make Disciples of all Nations", a day of reflection on the growing diversity in our church and what this means for Pastors and the Pastoral Ministry in the 21st century.

"I Believe" song and lyrics...

The "Believe for Life--The Creed" video featured students singing an original song "I Believe" with words and music composed by Mrs. Jaroslava Lonchyna. 82nd Pilgrimage in Fox Chase Manor, PA

The Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great held their 82nd Annual Pilgrimage on the grounds of their Motherhouse in Fox Chase Manor, PA on Sunday, October 6, 2013. The theme of this year's pilgrimage was "Accepting the Cross: Martyrs of the Ukrainian Catholic Church". The main celebrant at the 11:30 Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was Metropolitan-Archbishop Stefan Soroka. The homilist was Bishop Borys Gudziak.

Believe for Life - Video and Brochures

"Believe for Life - The Creed" is a video production of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia. DVDs of this video (in both English and Ukrainian languages) were mailed to thousands of households in the Archeparchy of Philadelphia. This video is used as an evangelization approach for our church.
