Feast of St. Volodymyr - Pastoral Letter

Attached, please find a Pastoral Letter from His Beatitude, Kyr Sviatoslav, concerning the opening of the 1025 Anniversary of the Baptism of St. Volodymyr the Great and Ukraine. Since the Feast of St. Volodymyr is this Saturday, we are asked to make this available this weekend and offer petitions in in commemoration of this event in anticipation of 2013.

Blessing Cars at Chancery

In honor of the Feast of St. Elijah, the Great Prophet (July 20), Metropolitan-Archbishop Stefan Soroka blessed cars of the Chancery Staff in the Parking Lot of the Chancery. St. Elijah ascended into heaven in a fiery chariot and on July 20th, we bless our "motorized chariots" remembering the Great Elijah.

Open House at Ascension Manor

Ascension Manor (a senior citizen apartment complex) held an Open House for members of the Board of Directors and various organizations that played a role in the $11 million renovation project at Ascension Manor. Ascension Manor is under the direction of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia and is located one block from the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Philadelphia. (Equal Housing Opportunity).

Ascension Manor will hold a Grand Rededication Ceremony September 17th, hope to see you there!
